Anita is a student in one of the Asmita Project Study Classes. She is in the 10th Standard and preparing for the Board Exams. Anita says "My study base was very poor because my mother language is Banjara (Tribal language) and at school study is in Marathi language. It was very difficult to understand. I couldn't read and write properly. I was very worried, confused about how I study for S.S.C Board Exam. My brother Venkatesh told me about Asmita study class. I joined this class. Rekha Mam teach us very easy and basic words. I found it very easy and did not feel fear to be in this class. Now I can read and write well. Last class Umakant sir , Palvi mam and Meenakshi Mam helped us to prep for SSC Board Exam.This was very helpful. I am enjoying my study class. I love to join in next year also for 11th Standard.
I have been twice over a period of two years to see the work being done at the Aaryshree's Foundation. I was deeply moved by the genuine love and dedication Dh. Shraddha Jyoti and all the teachers have, both for the project and for the girls and women that they work with. Equally moving was the lighting up of the faces of the women and children at the sight of their teachers, their champions. The atmosphere in the tiny bare ill equipped classrooms is one of abundance not lack. When the teachers and students come together there is a circle of safety, warmth, enjoyment, care trust and love that comes into being. In the most destitute of places, the most positive and elevated of human interactions. Please give what you can, whatever it is you have to give, no amount is too small or too big. Be it money or service or provision. What you have to offer will be received here with immense gratitude and it will be used to better the quality of human existence one little courageous and loving step at a time.
